Mila and Siena at 1 month

Mila still has smaller features, which helps us know who is who.  She loves to cuddle and when she's being held she'll relax her whole body.  We took her to the doctor at 2 weeks because her breathing sounded very labored, and although the doctor said everything was normal, she still sounds like she's wheezing sometimes.  Her neck is strong enough to lift her head pretty high.

Siena slept very soundly last night, so right now she's ranking pretty high in my book.  Unfortunately, when Mila wakes up to eat, they both get fed, so I'm not getting more sleep because of it.  But I at least appreciate her effort to help me get more sleep.  She likes her pacifier more than Mila, and usually makes funnier faces when I get the camera out (including crossed eyes.)  When she's upset, her cry sounds like a bird squawking.

They both are below the 5th percentile for weight, which isn't surprising since they were born so small.  But they're growing and healthy (and even have a few wrinkles on their legs!  They're not quite to the point where they can be called fat rolls, but it's something).  For the most part they eat every 3 hours, although I wish it was longer at night.  (Once they went 4 hours.  It's progress.)  And their day time has no routine to it, which can start to make a person crazy.  It seems like as soon as one falls asleep, the other one wakes up.

Both of these pictures are of Mila.  It's the only 'premie' onesie we have, and she's just about outgrown it.

One day we had Tiago lay between the girls to see the size difference. He thought it was fun for a second, then pushed himself up off the ground.  Except instead of the ground, it was Mila's face.  She was not happy about that.  Luckily, babies have durable heads and don't remember these things.
