Life lately through pictures

Last family picture with just us 3... about to go to the hospital:

This picture makes me laugh because Siena's hands are crazy, and her face, too.  

Our first day home from the hospital, Tiago had a fun time trying out the girls' toys.  He's able to climb into those himself, although fortunately it lost its appeal and he usually stays out.  Also, you can't tell, but there's a tiny baby in the one on the left.  

In addition to hopping into their rockers, Tiago loves to play with their pacifiers.  He'll chew on them, suck on them, and if he hears a baby crying he'll try to shove it in her mouth. 

One day he got jealous that the babies were getting bottles, so when he saw it sitting there, he grabbed it and started drinking.  We thought he'd stop once he tasted it, but no--he kept chugging.  Gross.

Our first outing once the girls were home: walking to the grocery store, doner shop, and bakery.  I'm pretty sure I was sore the next day.  

We also got out to eat at a thai restaurant.  It's easier to do things with three adults... one per baby.

Tiago hasn't learned the art of being gentle.  He's come a long way in the last few weeks, and now he tries to interact with them, but it's usually a hand in the face or a finger in the eye.

For the last few days it's been snowing/hailing off and on, but before that, we had beautiful weather and got to spend more time outside.  There's a great park nearby that Tiago loves.

And Grandma spoiled him by going on walks every day-- they'd often come back with a doner or candy.

We came back from the store one day to find Hyrum feeding both babies while watching soccer.  That's the ultimate multi-tasking.

With my mom here we've been eating well--both real food and desserts.  Two hits were caramel apples with cinnamon and sugar (and chocolate); and baked apples with ice cream.

In the last 2 weeks Tiago has learned how to use an ipad all on his own.  He can turn it on, unlock the screen, find the app that he wants and play his little game. Kids these days!
