When Santiago was born, someone in Hyrum's Regiment gave us his orders. As is customary with the Army, it leaves no confusion about what is to be expected! It was nice for someone to go out of their way to make our baby feel welcomed into the Army.
One of my favorite parts is (d) No uniform or baggage is authorized or permitted in your travel to Klinikum Saint Marien Hospital, Amberg Germany. Initial issue will be made prior to your Mother's viewing. Supplemental gear will be issued upon the presentation of these orders.
That's really cute. I'm surprised the army has a sense of humor...
