Windows

Once we picked an apartment to live in, our landlords surprised us with some things we didn't see the first time around.  For starters, they showed us a large storage area downstairs we could use. Score!  Then they showed us how to use the windows. Sounds basic, I know, but I wonder how long it would have taken me to figure out otherwise.

German blinds are built in, and are 'stored' inside the walls.  I don't have a good picture to show it.  The other cool thing is the windows have three 'stages'.  Open, cracked, and closed.  (that goes for windows and doors).
Closed, of course. Handle down.
All the way open (unfortunately without screens). Handle horizontal.

Cracked open at the top. Handle up.
