Almost a year old! I noticed today that he responds well to his own name. Particularly if he gets caught doing something he knows he shouldn't.
His newest accomplishment is clapping. At first it seemed accidental. He'd watch himself swing his hands in front, and act surprised when they'd hit each other. Now he claps when he sees people on TV clap, or if he sees us clapping he'll copy us. It's a fun age.
Recently we started showing him Sesame Street. He loves the songs. He realizes that the remote control does things to the TV, so he'll grab it and point it at the TV. (Or chew on it.)
He has clearly out grown this bouncer... although he doesn't know it and occasionally we can trick him into hanging out in there while we get ready for church.
Eating is hit or miss. When he doesn't feel like eating, he'll take the food, and dump it on the floor. One day, Hyrum was trying to feed him bread with hummus. But he left the hummus on the table while he went in the other room. When he came back, Tiago had grabbed the food off the table and made quite the mess. He was so proud of himself!
Still no walking, although he walks holding on to furniture, or holding on to his high chair. He's good at pushing it all the way across a room. He's getting good and climbing on and off of things, like on to the dishwasher, or off of the sofa.

Love that cute boy of yours!! I might kidnap him ;) And seriously - that picture of him in the laundry basket is perfection!!!! So cute.
ReplyDeleteThat foot move is pretty funny. He looks like a Kung Foo expert.
