Tiago had his baby blessing at church this past Sunday. He's just a bit bigger than most babies when they're blessed, it was worth waiting to have Hyrum be able to do it. Santiago didn't didn't cry at all but Hyrum said he started trying to grab the microphone towards the end.
It made me smile when Hyrum was walking to the front of the room carrying Tiago, and the girls in front of us whispered, "Mom, he's so cute!!" He really is. He is still serious, but has become much more flirty in the last few weeks. After all the staring, he'll break out in a big smile. Usually at me, but sometimes at strangers, and they love it.
We usually take a lot of pictures in an attempt to get one where Tiago is looking at the camera, and then we delete the rest. But I love all the different faces he's making with Hyrum holding him.
[I included the picture at the top, because Hyrum joked about holding Tiago up after the blessing like Mufasa does with Simba in the Lion King. Present him to the world. But he held back, and instead did it in front of a big beautiful field after church. I love having those fields all around us!]
